Playing Policy
Rules and regulations for all participants.
1. Spirit of the Game
All matches shall be conducted in the true spirit of cricket. Players and officials are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. The Umpire's decision is final and must be respected by all.
2. Player Registration & Eligibility
All players must be officially registered with the league and assigned to a team roster before participating in any match. Players may only be registered for one team in any single tournament unless explicitly permitted by league officials.
3. Team Composition
Each team must submit their Playing XI to the match officials before the toss. Teams must consist of a minimum of 7 players to start a match. The use of substitute fielders is permitted only for injured or ill players, as approved by the umpires.
4. Match Day Procedures
Teams must arrive at the designated venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. The toss will be conducted 15 minutes prior to the start. Delays may result in penalties, including the reduction of overs.
5. Code of Conduct
Any form of dissent, abuse (verbal or physical), or harassment towards umpires, opponents, or spectators is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive language, excessive appealing, and intentional damage to property or equipment.
6. Disciplinary Actions
Breaches of the Playing Policy or Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action by the league committee. Sanctions may include warnings, match suspensions, or permanent expulsion from the league, depending on the severity of the offense.
